The editorial cadence is light on purpose. New posts land here when there's something real to say — usually a release, a security note, or a deeper technical writeup.
What lands on this page, and what doesn't.
Most cryptocurrency 'news' pages are a steady drip of price commentary, partnership announcements, and contentless ecosystem chatter. This one isn't. The bar for a post here is whether someone using Electrum RVN to hold or move RVN would meaningfully benefit from reading it.
Release notes, security advisories, technical writeups, and protocol-level analysis. That's the entire editorial surface.
- Release notes — every new build and what changed.
- Security advisories — when an issue affects the wallet or its users; clear instructions for what to do.
- Technical writeups — protocol mechanics, asset-layer deep-dives, mining notes when something changes.
- Ecosystem notes — only when a downstream event materially affects RVN holders.
What we don't publish
No price commentary. No "RVN to the moon" content. No partnership announcements that are really thinly disguised advertising. No exchange shilling. No referral codes. No airdrops or yield farms or anything that requires you to connect your wallet to a stranger's website. The list of things we don't write about is longer than the list of things we do, and that is deliberate.
There is no newsletter, no Discord, no Telegram, no mailing list. Bookmark this page; new posts appear at the top. Releases are also visible on the download page with version and release notes. If something security-critical lands, it will be prominent on both pages at the same time — there is no quiet rollout.
New project, light publication queue. The most useful things to read in the meantime are the core sections of this site: how the security model actually works, how recovery works, and a short read on what Ravencoin is. Each of those will outlast any news post we eventually ship.
Why this page stays sparse
News pages on most wallet sites are content marketing disguised as updates. This one tracks the things that actually matter to people running the wallet: new releases, security advisories, and protocol upgrades that affect how the wallet behaves. Marketing posts, partnership announcements, and price commentary live elsewhere.
Between releases, the canonical source is the public source repository (issues, pull requests, commits). Anything else — social-media posts, third-party trackers, AI summaries — is downstream of that and worth verifying against it before acting.
Every legitimate release on this page links to the installer hosted on this site, and the Electrum RVN security model page describes how to verify a build before running it. Announcements that ask you to install something via a third-party mirror, a direct message, or a "support team" email are not legitimate, regardless of how convincing they look.
